Comedian Will Durst and Politico Extraordinaire Willie Brown

Will Durst and Willie Brown join producer Paul “The Lobster” Wells, live and in-person at the College Preparatory School, in a freewheeling discussion of the issues of the day – and anything else that crosses their minds!

According to the New York Times, Will Durst is “quite possibly the best political satirist working in the country today.” Sweeping both sides of the aisle with a quiver full of arrows dipped in common sense, Durst has performed at hundreds of appearances in theaters and comedy clubs, on television, and just about everywhere. Will Durst does a twice-weekly 90 second podcast for audible.com, similar to the "A Burst of Durst" that was a daily feature of The Will and Willie Show.

As a former mayor of San Francisco, and Speaker of the California State Assembly for a recordsetting 15 years, Willie L. Brown brings a commanding, behind-the-scenes political savvy that makes other politicians seem like rank amateurs. Mr. Brown currently writes his column "Willie's World" for the Sunday San Francisco Chronicle and is co-hosting a 49er Post Game TV show with Radio and TV personality Gary Radnich for the Comcast Sports Net Channel. Combined with Durst's searing humor and the pair's lightning-fast wits, and you're in for a roller coaster ride of a conversation.

Known to radio listeners in the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles as the legendary DJ “The Lobster,” producer Paul Wells brought Durst and Brown together to create The Will and Willie Show in 2005. His company, Flow Communications, creates content for radio, TV and the Internet, and Paul currently hosts a weekly syndicated Classic Rock program, Lobster's Sunday Brunch.

Originally broadcast in the local San Francisco area as the morning show on Air America Radio affiliate 960 AM, The Quake (now Green 960), the show continues via the Internet as a podcast / vodcast to listeners around the world. This LiveTalk special event will be recorded and distributed as the latest installment of their on-going, on-line dialog.
